If you've worked with us before, you knew us as E&J Construction LLC. The name on the paperwork changed to Silverback Roofing and Development LLC — everything else didn't. Same owner, same crews, same standards, and the same gorilla on the truck that our customers have recognized for years.
The new name reflects what the business has grown into: a full roofing and development contractor, BBB accredited, serving homeowners and property managers across the Greater Houston area.
Our Story
Silverback Roofing and Development LLC was built by Edwin Axel Meza Ponce on a simple idea: tell people the truth about their roof. That sounds low as a bar until you've been through a few roofing sales pitches. We inspect for free, we show you the photos, and when the honest answer is "your roof is fine, call us in three years," that's the answer you get.
We work out of our office on North Sam Houston Pkwy W and serve roughly a 40-mile radius — Houston, Spring, Cypress, Katy, Tomball, The Woodlands, Houston Heights, River Oaks, Jersey Village, Humble, Sugar Land, and Conroe. Residential replacements, storm restoration, commercial flat roofs, and everything in between.
Our inspections include drone photography and thermal leak detection, because a roofer who can't show you the problem probably can't fix it either. We're licensed, insured, and BBB accredited, and we're open 7 days a week from 7 AM to 7 PM — because storm damage doesn't wait for Monday morning.
